Aye and my Covenanting forefathers, some of whom were
probably killed by Gaels.
And probably killed a few as well...
Quite possible. I do know they were involved in a slight
scuffle with a Captain John Graham of Claverhouse **
and his dragoons at Drumclog in 1679.
** Also known as 'Bluidy Clavers' or 'Bonnie Dundee'
if nothing else is certain, it's that Scots have always been
fair adept at fighting each other.
A tradition maintained to this day ?
Where have all these Scots landed gentry suddenly appeared from then ?
Previously you stated you were the "Daughter of a Polish father and an
Anglo-Irish mother".
Misplaced hubris...pure and simple.
Actually I do believe I may have tenuous connections
to a certain Barncluith on the Avon Water.
Obviously a mis-spelling of Baron Cluith !
Cluaidh is the Gaelic name for the Clyde. Possible connection?
