my congratulations to her, as I have never gone up a 40ft pole.

Would it be rude to enquire of her actual age, as a matter of interest
and due respect?

She is somewhat younger than I am, and is a very refreshing
64 year old. If I were to go on an Expedition, I could not select
a braver more worthy companion. I, on the other hand, am
just a silly old sausage. ;-)
