It was a year ago, today, that Ian O. Morrison passed away. While I
am struggling to come to terms with the loss, I can, nevertheless,
recall the wonderful adventures that we shared.

Ian was responsible for the fact that the 'Skittish Quilters of SCS'
came into being. Many of us met in person, as a result of the
festivities during our week in Stirling, and some of us have become
fast friends.

Ian was the most polite person I've ever known. He never said an
unkind word about any of the posters here, and while I might have
ranted and raved over some egregious (IMHO) post, he always made
excuses for people's bad behaviour. Our temperaments complemented
each other nicely. I miss his dry sense of humour.

Perhaps some of you would like to toast his memory with a dram, or
two. He would have approved. :)

Claire and I are having a wee dram of Old Pulteney in his memory Elaine.
Incidentally I was just thinking of you as I'm playing golf on Friday then
going to the Kings in Melrose for a meal, where of course we first met with
Ian and yourself. And yes he was a lovely guy. I hope you are keeping well?

Our net server went defunct and I have a new e-mail address now. I'd been
meaning to send you it so will remember to do so.

Please send me your new e-mail address, Allan. I don't have WebTV any
more having inherited Ian's laptop, so my e-mail address has changed,
as well. It's now: elainefromdrake_at_isp.com
