Is Glasgow unique in having several Subway outlets open well into the

small hours, staffed by burly doormen to control (and occasionally
eject)
the crowds of drunken revellers who descend upon such establishments
after "chuckin' oot" time at the nightclubs? I think the question has
to
be asked. :-)

And let us not forget the traditional kebab shop, which offers some
"meat-like" substance of dubious origin in a chapati sandwich, covered
in
a mysterious spicy sauce, garnished with bits of raw onion and cabbage.
No, I stay well away from those, having discovered the Subway cure is a
lot kinder on the digestive tract. :-)
