Hangovers.

I wonder how others deal with their hangovers. Any magic remedies?
After years of "study" frequenting various purveyors of alcoholic
beverages in the city of Glasgow, I have come around to the conclusion
that a Subway sandwich, usually 12" tuna with "everything on", liberally
washed down with large quantities of Barr's Irn-Bru (accept no
substitutes); all consumed at c. 3.30am, while considering transportation
options for the return journey back home; offers "thermo-nuclear
protection" against the worst ravages of the dreaded hangover.
Is Glasgow unique in having several Subway outlets open well into the wee
small hours, staffed by burly doormen to control (and occasionally eject)
the crowds of drunken revellers who descend upon such establishments
after "chuckin' oot" time at the nightclubs? I think the question has to
be asked. :-)
And let us not forget the traditional kebab shop, which offers some
"meat-like" substance of dubious origin in a chapati sandwich, covered in
a mysterious spicy sauce, garnished with bits of raw onion and cabbage.
No, I stay well away from those, having discovered the Subway cure is a
lot kinder on the digestive tract. :-)
