Never having used anti-virus software, I don't.

Really?
I didn't for the first few years and never had any problems but all of a
sudden I started getting lots of them - about five in the space of a few
weeks at one point. Decided to set up a firewall and anti-virus after
that.
PC-illin seems OK - it looks after itself re:updates and scans etc.

There are *very* few Linux viruses. I haven't heard of any in the wild.

Hmmm. Definitely a gap in the market there.

Can't say I've had any problems myself since I set up the anti-virus
software and, as I said, it does it's thing all by itself.

By the way - isn't it 'viri'?
