I think it was the mud. He got bored with repeatedly having to wipe it off
his face. Sadly, most of it was his own. When the $%^^$&$& hits the fan,
as they say.

He has no one to blame but himself for being held to his ridiculous
claims. Even the denizens of scs have had their fill of his nonsense
and " Time to plonk that Poser Highlander! " has become their battle
cry.
