The USA's administrations hate rate has just gone up a couple more notches

They are attempting to get hold of a UK resident to try him for being

anti-Terror Law. The guy was not in the USA so USA jurisdiction cannot
apply.
But the computers presumably were, which raises the interesting
question of where the crime was actually committed. Laws are not
immutable, often illogical and usually several years behind reflecting
the state of the world. What if someone in Belarus were to hack into
your bank's computer and empty your account? Would you just shrug your
shoulders and think "Too bad"?
the legal machinery already exists to pursue matters through that legal
machinery.
Except, of course, true to form, the USA refuses to recognize the
International Courts or the United Nations that should deal with such
matters as international crime and disputes between countries.
The very fact that a crime is committed in one country but has most effect
in another country shows there is an obvious need for International Courts
and International Laws. The fact that countries are invading other countries
shows the need for both International Laws and the United Nations.
There is, though, no rule that says this international law has to be USA law
and that the controlling force to prevent International Strife has to be the
United States Of America's big guns. Which is exactly what I have been
saying on this subject for many years.
The USA are attempting to unilaterally take legal jurisdiction over all the
World, to tell sovereign states what to do, to invade any country they
choose, to hold on to nuclear weapons yet deny any other nation from using
or developing them. The USA has disagreed and disrupted the United Nations,
has denied the international courts and steam rollered over anyone brave
enough to defy their might. The most obvious signs of this are the swath of
destabilised countries they have left in their wake.
This is not the behaviour that made the United States of America a great and
shining beacon for the World to aspire to copy but it is the kind of
behaviour that will, sooner or later, see them sink to oblivion as history
has shown every other great World Power has done in the past.
This behaviour is not the behaviour of the land of the free. It is not
democracy and it is not the way to bring democracy to the World. You cannot
bring democracy to the World over the barrel of a gun, you cannot bring
democracy to the World by force or threats. You can, though, do so by your
own shining example, by showing the World there is a far better way than
the gun, the threat and the might of a large atomic stockpile. You cannot
force your countries laws upon another country if they are not ready to
accept them. What you will get by such actions is the weaker countries
striking back in any way they see fit and by any means at their disposal. If
that way is terrorism, then what else did you expect? If the weapons are
airliners flying into tall buildings them what else did you expect? If the
oppositions become suicide bombers then what else did you expect?
The only remaining question now is --- not what will the USA do next but ---
what are the little people going to do next? What weapon will they use next,
who will they be using it against?
