One of us is behind this Troll. I don't believe he is a Yank. Maybe
it's
Glenallan pulling our leg?

Nah. Glenallan writes with style and humour - even when I don't agree
with
him.

Clever as Big G is, he could not reach low enough to imitate this
attention seeking wally... Its not in him...

Besides this chump is scattered all across Usenet, G could not be
bothered...

How insightful, but you are right.
'Pretence' takes a lot of effort.

I really only contribute to this newsgroup with any regularity.
Furthermore, when I address the weighty subjects of
Immigration and the changing character of our society, and
many other issues, I am not really on a crusade.

It is enough for me that I know the truth of these matters,
without trying to convert everyone else.

And yes, you're right again.......
For a so-called Nazi ***, I am more likely to lift my
jackboot off a detractors neck than follow through.
I'm just a big softy with a capacity for intellectual rigour. ;-)

I was however, slightly bewilderd to find myself being
compared to the Troll gentleman. Fortunately those,
like yourself, who have actually come to know me
and can read the 'runes' are aware that I always play
the game within very strict boundaries and never attack
anyone who is less fortunate, or cast aspersions on their
character, their family or their origins.

After all, I have found that given enough rope, trolls
and bullies will always make an arse of themselves.

If it's broken really badly...
don't fix it either.

Last time I came across the word 'runes' was in reference to viking
inscriptions at Maeshowe in Orkney. Have you been dabbling in Norse culture,
perchance? Or do you mean something else?

I was simply meaning that there are those who can read the signs.
In general, I believe that everyone writes in such a way that the
character signature is written into the skeleton of what they have
written,
or how they have written it. There are some interesting examples of
this
even within this newsgroup.

This should not surprise us, as everyone has a vocanbulary that varies
perhaps between 2000 and 8000 words in a language that has some
half-a-million words. I read somewhere once that one can get by very
adequately on only 700 words.

Some will write with more or less 'allegory' to convey their thoughts
when
the factuality of words does not adequately represent the thought that
they
wish to convey. This aparently lazy use of language has given colour
to our
language and has, (witness Churchill) led to some of the sweetest
English
prose that it is possible to hear.

But I digress......

AFAIK "reading the runes" was a form of prophesying
