The fact that some of you have actually

I think, in most cases, that they are very accurate.
How does it effect the relationship
online. Do you feel much closer to
people you have met face to face?
I think it's natural that you feel a little closer to people after
you've met, face to face. If you weren't particularly fond of someone
before the actual meeting, it's possible that you still won't be later
on. Speaking only for myself, I've had a few pleasant surprises.
However, in one instance, I didn't care for someone before meeting
them......liked them a lot during the short time we had
together......then reverted back to not caring for them, later on. It's
possible for people to put up a good 'front' for a short period of time.

Some of our group are very disinterested in meeting any of the rest face
to face. I've speculated as to why this is, and assume it's either that
they don't want their illusions (about the rest of us) shattered, or
perhaps they've built up a completely bogus biography for themselves,
and don't want to be 'found out'. It's all pretty interesting.
Someone should send you links to photos from our get-togethers.
