Here are some webcam links I've found.

They all seem to show different parts of the same area on the south
side of Glasgow and are related to a web site with a guestbook.
I for one felt your post was made in good faith and as a Scot I feel a
little embarrassed that it was met with such hostility, rudeness and
bad-mannered whining.
I simply reported what happened when I followed one of the above links,
very very carefully.
For that I was called a "dork", and various other "hostile" and "rude"
things.
Water off a duck's back and all that, but fair's fair.....
If no malware had shown up I probably wouldn't have posted a reply, but
thought it advisable to warn others that they were liable to infection
from the above site.
I appreciate your comments, but I must say that I too might well have
posted the links for SCS to look at and hopefully enjoy, and being no
expert about the computer world, would have been less than thrilled at
being accused of setting the whole thing up to ensure that everyone
else's computer was infected.
Errrr, where was the OP accused of "setting it up" ?
"Ever curious, especially about such suspicious URLs, I tried one of
the links above and discovered that I had been infected with "Adware"
and a cookie which had not been on my system before. The pests have
been removed and Demon will be informed about this abuse of their
servers."
Ms. McDonald's replies seem to me to have the touch of anger and
outrage that I would have exhibited had I been replied to as she was.
In that respect, she is clearly as Scottish as any of us.
She got her knickers in a twist rather early into the thread
but, there again, she appears to have the Garlic.
Coincidence ?
Anyway, with a name like McDonald . . .
While knowing very little about the ins and outs of the computer
world, I do know a great deal about the world of language. Would you
like me to start correcting your occasional typos and berating you
about them?
I think this whole thread went to overkill without a moment's pause
for reflection.
Probably. But I've never seen her post here before, has anyone ?
What possible benefit could Ms. McDonald have earned
by infecting the group's computers with malware?
What benefit does anyone gain ?
But it happens hundreds of times a day !
