Now I'm not really one to be critical of another person's English usage

Be specific. Give examples.
You said:
"Who would believe that people would try and claim that that language
is
spoken today when it is not and was wholly reinvented in the 1920's.
Inglis is the very very correct way of referring to that language
which
people refer to as scots as they take that 'language' from that period
and ignore its later development and use that lack of later
development
to establish a difference from the english that that 'inglis' referred
to by allowing the later development of that 'inglis' in england and
ignoring it's dialectically parallel development in scotland - as
inglis and then as english."
The word "dialectic" means something entirely different from what I
think you meant in the passage above. However, the context is so
obscure
and convoluted that nobody could possibly *know* what you mean to say.
but --- ----
It is perfectly clear that dialectic
dialectic= the pursuit of truths in philosopyhy through logical debate.
here means exactly what is meantenglish is usually written with an upper case, "E".
by its usgae namely that it is dialectically evolved dialects of
english
What is a dialectic? An argument. How is english
ditto as above.
spoken in
Scotland? In a dialectic with England.
Did you perhaps mean, "English"?
Anyway, you seem unable to differentiate between, "Scottish Standard
English", spoken with a Scottish accent and Scottish spoken with any one
of
several Scottish accents.
So there are only accents then?
For example I might say in Scots, "Gab Scot's leid wi a Broch tune".
That is an old english dialect. There are many of them. Inclusion is
the means by which exclusion effects itself. English is the language of
government. This is english quote and yet the poster is still unable to
do anything with it...why?
"English", has a capital letter, (Sorry but I cannot understand all of what
you are attempting to say above)?
Rubbish! So Gaelic is a dialect of English by that stupid definition, for
after all, Faelic Speaking areas are goverened by the same Government as are
such as Urdu, speaking areas.
Furthermore both the Westminser and Holyrood Parliaments have ratified the
EU Parliaments ruling that both Lowland Scots and Gaelic Scots are minority
Scottish languages. In fact you can legally submit things to Holyrood in
English, Lowland Scots and Gaelic.
Going native? Could you please explain that for us? The group is named,
Why don't you learn how to express yourself in a form which other
people
can understand, then come back here and attempt to make whatever
points
you wanted to make?
Ones concern is not to express oneself in a way that encourages
settlers in this group but to discourage them.
Settlers in this group? Who might they be?
One means those who are going native only. No reference to white
settlers
or some such is intended
"Social Culture Scottish", and its, whole purpose is dealing with anything
to do with Scottish Culture. In my humble opinion debating and using the
Scottish languages, (in any of their forms), comes well within that
definition.
You're just coming across as an illiterate moron (your word!), but I
The thing is this - you have yet to prove your point that Scots language
really is a dialect of English. Any idiot could make that claim, and
believe
me, many idiots have tried.

They were the same language moron. Changing the name signifies nothing
but that english is objective when spoken by an englishman and a
dialect when spoken by a Scot.
Indeed they were the same language, Arsehole.
