<I have "drives" which extend as far as "I:", but that's because those
beyond "E:" are slots for a "Removable Disk", in "Windows" parlance. In
fact the "disks" in question are decidedly rectangular, and solid, such
as the Compact Flash ones which I use. It is hardly surprising that
ill-educated younger people, such as Oor Tam, get confused over this
sort of thing, when companies such as M*cr*sh*ft perpetuate it so.>

At one point I became a "partition junkie".

Used to rename my CD drives as "Y" and "Z".

1st HD (5Gb partitions) could be C, E, F, G, H, I, J, K
2nd HD (5Gb partitions) could be D, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R

That left S, T, U, V, W, X for USB thingies !

Nowadays I can't be *rsed !
