Kyles of Bute, as viewed from somewhere north of Tighnabruaich this
afternoon -

Weather not bad today; sunny, but with just enough wind-chill thrown in
to keep the madding crowds at home. :-)
It's bloody awful here.
Too hot to do anything but sit in the shade and drink beer.
Even that's an effort.

Given the choice of hot or cold, I'll always choose the latter. Never
got used to that heat in Hawaii. It was murder working in a
non-airconditioned factory.

?!
I wouldn't *dream* of working in it. That's just insane.
It's bad enough having to keep snapping my fingers for the PFD to bring me
another beer.
You'd think after all this time she would have learned to anticipate my
empty glass - but no - self, self, self, as always.
I dread to think what it's going to be like in Cairns if she doesn't buck
her ideas up.

I don't like it much above about 38 - 40C though I must admit.
And anything below 18 C and I just can't function.
We are apparently experiencing the worst drought in 30 years at the moment.
Ha - if you think this is bad just wait another ten years.
