Kyles of Bute, as viewed from somewhere north of Tighnabruaich this
afternoon -

Weather not bad today; sunny, but with just enough wind-chill
thrown
in to keep the madding crowds at home. :-)
I had a little excursion to Bothwell Castle today - a place I have
never
been before. It was a bit cloudier but there were plenty of people
about. I even drove past the unprepossessing Camphill Vaults on the
way
home.
The Tighnabruaich area is one which I have wondered about as a
possible
place to live. If I had a house with an outlook like the one shown
in
your picture, I would certainly be prepared to put up with a few
minor
inconveniences!

Tighnabruaich village is very nice looking. Wouldn't mind staying
there myself, but that'll mean becoming independently wealthy first.
:-)
Bothwell Castle; we eventually found it one day after taking a
wrong turn somewhere, but the GPS pointed out my navigational error.
