An interesting aside:
A team of scientists investigating Seasonal Affective Disorder, went to
Iceland, figuring it was about as cold, dismal, and dim as any inhabited
place on earth.
They expected to find a high incidence of SAD there but to their great
surprise, the Icelanders experienced a much lower occurrence.
The reason they postulated was all the fish eaten there and as a result, all
the Omega 3 they take in.
Further studies indicted that about 6 gms of standardized Omega 3 capsules
had a marked effect on a number of brain chemistry problems.
Reminds me of Mom and her ever present bottle of Cod Liver Oil.
