There will be things that you did (or could have done) in your 20s that you wouldn't do now, bungee jumping and other dangerous stuff that can *hurt* you. In the same way, you don't want to look back in another 20 years and think, I wish I had done that when I had the opportunity / was fit enough.
A subject close to your heart, I cant ride a motorbike and would like to try it. Just figuring out how to drop it in to conversation.
Life is for living and thats what I intend to do. Jeez my wife is
even talking of move to Lake Annecy when we get shot of the weans, only hope my ski legs hold out and I can still teach in 10 years.
Don't wait ! Sell the weans via the white slave trade and DO IT NOW !
Start with the dug. Threatened to put him on eBay for eating my birthday cake. The weans were aghast at the thought of it, which in my opinion said more about my place in the household.
Years ago I remember a ski poster with someone taking a leap of the edge of a mountain and the flash line was something like "Those who say it cant be done are usually overtaken by other doing it" that has stuck with me for about 20 years. Never give give, live it to the max and all that. I intend to :)
