I read something similar in the paper about ten days ago (Scotland on
Sunday?) A journalist reported talking to a doctor who said they had a very
overweight seriously ill patient they could not evacuate from the hospital.
He asked his medical director what they were going to do and she replied 'We
are going to help him to heaven.'

Euthanasia is widely used by the medical profession- illegal or not. Its not
often talked about though.
