Great writers in Soc.Culture.Irish.

One of the reasons some of us spend time in soc.culture.irish is
because in between the blood-curdling language and threats of murder
there are occasional snatches of brilliant whimsy, such as Wee Dave,
the Hampster who owns Bren, his very own pet Irishman.
Greig Carlin no longer posts in SCI, sadly. Nor does inimitable
Snatters of Sinn Fein's revolutionary pet division, Greig Carlin's
dog. Both of them regularly posted in SCI in the past.
Herewith:
"Heavily armed British Troops bashed their way into West Belfast
today and stole our weather - they're giving it to the Protestants as
I type, I managed to hide a wee bit of the weather in the Fridge but
they kicked my door down threw the baby on the fire, raped my
grandmother beat me with an entrenching tool and lined all my
neighbours up in the garden and shot them - badly damaging my shed in
the process - they also kicked a small dog that was trying to help.
Just thought I'd tell you, we're all sitting here in the dark - I
expect censorship will keep it out of the news. Sinn Fein as usual are
doing nothing about it, the SDLP are still on their holidays and the
Catholic Primate told us all god's children got weather. The strain of
living in a repressive apartheid hell is starting to get to me. "
