Nothing that I can see Conway. It's the same as here ... welfare as
opposed to unemployment insurance.

It is :) I may be wrong here (someone will likely correct me if I am) but
in order to be on the dole you have to have worked, but in order to
collect benefits that may not be the case.

BTW, did you know that 'dole' is an acronym?
