There is presently a technically sophisticated project underway by a
consortium of USA and Anglo oil companies that will syphon off vast
amounts of Mexico's oil that lies underneath the Gulf of Mexico.
Through a huge offshore oil platform strategically constructed
adjacent to an immense Mexican oil field, Chevron , Shell and
British Petroleum will be syphoning over 100,000 barrels of oil per
day that rightfully belongs to the people of Mexico. At the current
price of oil of $138/barrel, the theft will amount to approximately
167 million dollars per year. Please refer to graphic detailing this
sinister plan at
http://www.aztlan.net/theft_of_mexico_oil.htm

There appears to be no limit to the greed of oil company giants. What
they can not conquer through military aggression, as in Iraq, they
will obtain through common thievery. The thievery of Chevron , Shell
and British Petroleum of Mexico's oil is no different than if your
neighbor siphoned and stole your gasoline from your automobile.
There has to be, and if not there should be, an international law
against this type of larceny.

Mexico has to move fast in order to protect its oil resources.
Firstly, under no circumstances should it allow its Constitution to be
amended to allow
the privatization of Petroleos Mexicanos (PEMEX). This will only lead
to the further theft of its oil by foreign interests. Secondly, it
must completely change the management of PEMEX. There is absolutely
no reason why PEMEX engineers could not exploit its own Gulf of Mexico
deep oil fields. And thirdly, Mexico must file a legal complaint in
an international court of law to stop Chevron , Shell and British
Petroleum from completing and operating the offshore oil platform
designed to steal its oil.
