Re: "Russia rises on global oil demand"

i find , surprisingly, that i support many of the demands that the russian
government makes on foreign investors/developers when it comes to the energy
industry, including the condition that shell include gazprom as a partner in
their sakhalin project. also, the state has been demanding better
environmental
although russia is an energy superpower, that status is more the result of
gas (and perhaps hydro-electric potential) than oil. as far as oil is
concerned, they are a mid-high level player; not superpower.

"The Molikpaq oil platform, producing up to 70,000 barrels a day..."

70, 000 barrels/day is nothing.
