Vladimir Putin is the reincarnation of Gregory Rasputin, indeed.
Maybe five years before he gained power in Russia there was an episode of
some SF detective show on TV, where the actor similar to Putin played the
future successor of Boris Yeltsin which would be both a KGB agent and a
reincarnation of Rasputin. I never ever supposed that it would really
happen. But it did.

I clicked on and saw how Putin is indicated in Russian as dvaputin--
the second Rasputin. Whatever be the case , Jake, the man is NOT part
and parcel of the "new" Russia supposedly steeped in democratic
reform. He's a small version of stinking Joe Stalin and as dangerous
too.
