that mark means that the synagogue indicated is to be destroyed at a date after recognition of Palestine as a state. Keep it subtle and somewhere where you have to look for it, possibly on the grounds. A black stone would be appropriate, or a carved rose. Also be sure to replace the mark should it be effaced or removed.

When it is time to destroy it, it doesn't have to be done by someone claiming to be you, Israel has made plenty of enemies. Maybe some British still ticked off about the bombings on 7/7 or back in the 40s. They play the long game too. All you need is one big-mouthed British citizen leaving an airport that day 12 hours before the time bomb.
