Westerners, (and women especially), should take just a moment out of
thier lives and learn about this seldom discussed but common Islamic
practice. Wikipedia has a good artcile, and the Ayatollah Khomeini wrote
a book on the subject that has been translated to Engish and is
available on Amazon.com. In brief, here is what Mufa?Khathat is, quoting
from Wikipedia.com:

"A man can marry a girl younger than nine years of age, even if the girl
is still a baby being breastfed. A man, however is prohibited from
having intercourse with a girl younger than nine, while other sexual
acts such as foreplay, rubbing, and kissing are allowed. A man having
intercourse with a girl younger than nine years of age has not committed
a crime, but only an infraction, if the girl is not permanently damaged.
If the girl, however, is permanently damaged, the man must provide for
her all her life. But this girl will not count as one of the man's four
permanent wives. He also is not permitted to marry the girl's
sister."


Khomeini specifically described an act known as thighing that allowed an
adult male to simulate sex with a female child without penetration:


"Thighing is a means for an adult male to enjoy a young girl who is
still in the age of weaning; meaning to place his penis between her
thighs, and to kiss her."


"It is better for a girl to marry in such a time when she would begin
menstruation at her husband's house rather than her father's house. Any
father marrying his daughter so young will have a permanent place in
heaven."

Hamas fends off Zionist copter raid

2007/09/02

Naval forces of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas)
announced on Sunday they had expelled two Zionist regime's helicopters
that hovered over central Gaza Strip with machine gunfire.

The naval forces said they compelled the aircraft to flee in the first
ever shooting at the regime's aircraft with heavy machine gunfire.

Meanwhile, Hamas' police which secures order in the Gaza Strip
reported on its website that the naval forces have opened fire at the
two helicopters.

Hospital officials in the town said the airstrike has lightly wounded
one.
