i dont learn religion,nor is there any necessity to counter it to have
belief in right and wrong,there is a personal conviction of doing the
right things,and not the wrong things,the good and the bad,that much of
religion is what i like to know,
Good approach. I appreciate it. To be honest koolfire, i didnt learn
religion too, and I am inaccord with you above saying. I just listen to
compartive religion talks, in which speakers from both the religions
speak about their things and are questioned by the audience about good
or bad things.(what audience finds in their religion)

The question is that why not to believe in Islam when you have its
teachings proved both scientifically and logically. Why is it always
like that, you find something making sense in Islam and dont accept it,
instead you sit back and start thinking about it to prove it wrong ? My
friend! Isn't it decieveing oneslef ? Why cannot we put our biases or
prejudices aside for something and think neutral ? Prejudiced people
only see what fits in those prejudices..I aint saying convert, all I m
saying is think on neutral grounds, if you still find Islam illogical,
stick to your opinion. No one can help you if you dont want to help
your own self.

for the big bang,because even today the big bang remains a theory,if
the big bang theory fails,what happens.
This theory has been proved. You need to review news sources for that.




c,mon if the earth was flat,there can never be sunrise or sunset,did

This thing being mentioned by Quran at that time was against the
prevailing concepts, that were; the earth is flat and round. Like a
disc. and now we knw, what Quran said is right.



the only reason is it was not of much concern to
anybody the earth was round or flat...there must have been other things
of imp,to ponder their mind on.
Quran, has these things that speak of its divinity. The point here isnt
that what concerned people. The point is that what was being told such
a long time ago is now being accepted as truth.
Quran States,
"Behold! In the creation
of the heavens and the earth,
and the alternation
of Night and Day -
there are indeed Signs
for men of understanding ."
[Al-Qur'an 3:190]


the ostrich is not a desert bird,its
more an habitat of the open Savannah like africa....
the creator of all
these things,must set a better example of communication to his only
messenger.
The arab used to trade all over the world. The presence of a word for
an Ostrich Egg depicts that arab were familiar with what an Ostrich Egg
was.
Quran addresses the whole mankind, all humans. It wasnt meant for
Prophet(PBUH). so GOD ALMIGHTY knws better what to use to explain what.

and here is more reasons, why to believe in Islam in light of Modern
Science.

BARRIER BETWEEN SWEET AND SALT
WATERS
"He has let free the two bodies
of flowing water, meeting together:
Between them is a Barrier
which they do not transgress."
[Al-Qur'an 55:19-20]

Modern
Science has discovered that in the places where two
different seas meet, there is a barrier between
them. This barrier divides the two seas so that each
sea has its own temperature, salinity and density.1
Oceanologists are now in a better position to explain
this verse. There is a slanted unseen water barrier
between the two seas through which water from one
sea passes to the other.(you might be having an explanation for this)


CREATION OF MAN
"It is He Who has
Created man from water:
then has He established
relationships of lineage
and marriage:
for thy Lord has power
(over all things)."
[Al-Qur'an 25:54]
Was it possible 14 centuries ago for any human
being to guess that every living being was made
from water? Moreover would such a guess be
conceivable by a human being in the deserts of
Arabia where there has always been scarcity of
water?
(Now this might be a guess too, why all guesses are certified by modern
science?)


"He makes you,
in the wombs of your mothers,
in stages, one after another,
in three veils of darkness."
[Al-Qur'an 39:6]
And according to Modern Science these three layers are now knows as
(i) anterior abdominal wall of the mother
(ii) the uterine wall
(iii) the amnio-chorionic membrane.

SENSE OF HEARING AND SIGHT
The first sense to develop in a developing human
embryo is hearing. The foetus can hear sounds after
the 24th week. Subsequently, the sense of sight is
developed and by the 28th week, the retina becomes
sensitive to light.
The Qur'an explains it thus:

"Verily We created man
from a drop of mingled sperm,
in order to try him:
so We gave him (the gifts),
of Hearing and Sight."


"It is He Who has created
for you (the faculties of)
hearing, sight, feeling and
understanding:
little thanks it is ye give!"
[Al-Qur'an 23:78]

In all these verses the sense of hearing is mentioned
before that of sight. Thus the Qur'anic description
matches perfectly with the discoveries in modern
embryology.



PAIN RECEPTORS IN THE SKIN
It was thought that the sense of feeling and pain
was dependent only on the brain. Recent discoveries
however prove that there are pain receptors present
in the skin, without which a person would not be
able to feel pain.

The Qur'an gives a clear indication of the existence
of pain receptors in the following verse:
"Those who reject
our signs,
We shall soon
cast into the Fire;
as often as their skins
are roasted through,
We shall change them
for fresh skins,
that they may taste
the Penalty:
for Allah is Exalted
in Power, Wise."
[Al-Qur'an 4:56]
Prof. Tagatat Tejasen, Chairman of the Department
of Anatomy at Chiang Mai University in Thailand,
has spent a great amount of time on research of
pain receptors. Initially he could not believe that
the Qur'an mentioned this scientific fact 1,400
years ago. He later verified the translation of this
particular Qur'anic verse. Prof. Tejasen was so
impressed by the scientific accuracy of the Qur'anic
verse, that at the 8th Saudi Medical Conference
held in Riyadh on the Scientific Signs of Qur'an and
Sunnah, he proudly proclaimed in public:
"There is no God but Allah and
Muhammad (pbuh) is His Messenger."


And for people who dont think logically inspite of knowing the truth
the Glorious Quran says that such people are
"Deaf, dumb and blind,
They will not return
(To the path)."
[Al-Qur'an 2:18]
Deaf, for they hear the truth but dont accept it.
Dumb for they knw the truth but dont accept it.
Blind, for they see the truth but dont accept it.

You might not be having any scientific reason to believe in your faith,
but I have reasons to believe in my faith, to attest it against any
scientific law.
Doesnt its like that Hindus are doing what they are being told to do ?
(As they dont any any scientific and logical reasoning on account of
their religion).
Think, think again.. The truth wont change from ur views, its there and
it will be there.
