But seriously exactly why would you want to leave UK and get married in
Nigeria?

I guess I am missing the point but trust me when I say getting married in UK
will be easier as far as YOU (not him) are concerned.

In any case after your official UK ceremonies you can both go to Nigeria
later on vacation and do a small introduction festivities for the family in
Nigeria.
