I've live 85 miles north of Juarez, and been to Juarez a few times, It
is a very poor town, sure ain't no resort town like Cancun, that's for
sure.

People are broke there, they'll wash your car for 50 cents. They'll
clean your shoes for a nickle.

Remember, there is no unemployment comp in Mexico, so if you don't make
money somehow, you don't eat, pure and simple.

Why would an American GI go to Juarez? Simple again, get drunk, and get
a $5 Blowjob.
That's been going on down there from the beginning of time.

Very likely, the GI got arrogant in the wrong place, at the wrong time,
with the wrong people.
It's a shame, and sad yes, but this is one place where the un-initiated,
and un-informed must be very careful, no matter who they think they are.
