I had a malaysian friend who had an American wife who stayed in Malaysia for
more than ten years. Every year without fail he had to go on his bended
knees to get her passport visit pass renewed. The American government after
ten years gave him a choice and that was either take up the right to migrate
to America as his wife is American or this right will be removed. It was
obvious the Malaysian Government is ever going to give his wife permanency
rights. He replied to the letter form the American government agreeing to
take up that right and in hardly a wink all the relevent approvals were
given. He is now in America making a decent living and all his children have
happily completed their education in the University without any hazzles or
discriminations. The last time I saw him, I asked him wheter he has any
intention to come back and his reply was "what for wasting time see all
these fucking arseholes?" Shame on this government!"


Is it time now to remove all those deadwoods from the government? :-p
