Re: PM is wise, reduces cabinet posts

maybe me english no good
he save by having less ministers to pay
he save from not having more ministers clamouring him to approve stupid
projects which are a real waste of money

eg. taib's son own the company titanium replacing bailey bridges (steel
structure bridges) in sarawak with concrete one. for 300+ bridges taib's son
was awarded the job for 400+ millions and finally claim 900+ millions for
the same thing according to DAP

first point is, 90% of the bridges need not be replaced because it is in
good condition, hardly use (less than 10 motor bikes a day) though old. most
of the bridges are in condition that is why JKR is keeping them for reuse.

second pointis, the irony is that, the main highway leading to about 40 of
these bridges is still using ferry crossing, means queueing 1 to 2 hours per
motorist for each crossing and a proposed bridge costing 80 millions to
replace the ferry is in the waiting for 20 years. cos' there is not much
profit as the cost had been work out

third point is, the bridges that taib's mahmud did cost 3 time the actual
cost and they such simple jobs, a 1+ millions bridge each.

4th point is, cost over run is cause by titanium as a turn key contractors
poor planning, poor design and poor management and JKR instead of fining
taib's son, award him extension of time with cost, and of course also cost
for rise in materials price due to delay. however bona fide contractors
sub-contracting from titanium never receive a cent in extension of time and
material cost

5th point is JKR Sarawak director Herbert Thian claimed that all titanium
jobs are done on time, when he instead of fining titanium for delay awarded
then time and cost. than Herbert Thian said auditor proved that this is
true when Herbert Thian himself allowed manipulation of the contract to
benefit titanium. than Wong Soon Koh of SUPP told everybody that titanium
is the best qualified contractor to do more projects.

DAP ASKED WONG SOON KOH, IS IT THAT NO CONTRACTOR IN SARAWAK IS QUALIFIED

THE ANSWER IS silent and the taib mahmud government move on

this is what i means, all facts here are real, i work for JKR on titanium
projects, copies of documental proofs can be provided
