The policemen went to the drug den without any protection for themselves.
They were not ready for a gunfight. They did not expect a gunfight. Then
what was the reason they went to the drug den? To visit the den? Or
perhaps to collect something from there? Whatever, they did not expect
the disaster that befell them.
It seems their bosses are not aware they were going for a drug raid.
The IGP is asking who authorised the raid, and their bosses are all in the
dark.
