Salleh was sentenced to life in prison for armed robbery in 1976. He spent
30
years, 11 months and nine days behind bars before being pardoned last
October.

My god, 30 years, for robbing how much ??  Can't be 1/10 as much as what was
robbed from Perwaja Steel.

Armed robbery carries a much longer jail sentence. He is lucky to not
get the death penalty. Malays do not kill Malays - no matter how bad
things get.
