LEBANON: PRODI VERY SATISFIED ABOUT CHINESE SOLDIERS
(AGI) - Nanjing, (China), Sept. 13 - Romano Prodi said that he was "extremely
satisfied" about China's decision to send a thousand soldiers to Lebanon. On
arriving in Nanjing, from where he will be leading the 5-day mission of the
Italian government in China, the prime minister said that he trusts in the fact
that the country is taking on a role in the world that is collaborative and not
disruptive. "This is why I, with great satisfaction, support the sending of a
thousand troops to Lebanon, because it is the first time that there is a sense
of China creating the modern world alongside others." (AGI) -
