Well, if you have studied arabic you would know your own bullshit.
In Arabic Islam derives the t root Sin-Lam-Mim, with a basic meaning
of "to surrender". Islam is an abstract nominal derived from this
root, and literally means "submission to ' The God ' (Allah)".
Other words are derived from islam such as salam... which may mean
peace.
