How many people check out at 12:00 on the dot? There are busloads of
Singaporeans heading back past my house at 09:00 every morning.

And 3 hours to clean a room?


I stay in hotels getting on for 150 days/year. Although the quality of hotels
in Malaysia are on average very good value for money, there are some glaring
inconsistencies. Genting hotels are the only ones I know of that practice
this policy, so they don't get my money. When I stay in the Promenade in KK
or the Waterfront in Labuan they often let me check in at 10:00 if I happen
to get there early so I can shower before my lunchtime meeting.
