Dude.. This is not only first time for DAP to do it. I remembered

Hehe... I am not the one suggesting that. You friend Uncle Yap was the
one who thought tthat the case was a selective prosecution with racial

remember one Lim Guan Eng getting into considerable trouble for his
efforts on behalf of a Malay constituent, and having insult added to
injury by being blamed for getting involved with Malay issues that
were supposedly none of his business, simply because as a Chinese man,
he is somehow expected to care only about Chinese issues...


That is the only time (that I can remember) where DAP shows interest in
problems related to other races and as such they managed to garner some
votes among Malays in the 1999 election. Unfortunately, due to losing
some votes among Chinese in the same election, DAP has decided to
concentrate on consolidating their Chinese powerbase.

As I have said it earlier, DAP need to do more about it if they want
people to see them not only fighting for one races. That is exactly
what the existing rulling party want them to do and it seems that it
the direction LKS decided to take.

You don't have to go far. Take for example during the past few weeks
when outher oppositions and NGO decided to make a demonstration on fuel
hike. Where is the DAP reps? They decided to shy away since it was
organised by other oppositions.
