The funny thing about this is that the Works Minister himself has not
visited the affected houses and is relying on second hand information
that the residents believe is not accurate. Note that the residents
have invited the Ministers on several occasions to have a first hand
look but to date, he has not done so. None of the senior officers from
his ministry have also visited the affected houses. The fact that the
Works Minister is not in the know of a lot of the key issues
pertaining this issue makes us wonder who has been advising him. The
only people that have had a look at this is the concessionaire but
surely this is the wrong party to give advice as they are deemed
interested as the direct beneficiary of the RM1.3 billion project.

Samy Vellu should visit the site, that is the least he can do.
