In the US, to kiss each other as greeting is not popular, people even get offended if two male would do that. Hand shaking is more appropriate.
vs. in Europe or Hungary it's popular to kiss twice on the face to relatives or close family, some other countries 3 times.
Communist leaders often seen kissing each other 2 or 3 times, as a sign of brother hood.
To strangers, kids just say "Csokolom" "to kiss" as a greeting and respect giving to older ones, rather than act it out.
An older person never say "Csokolom" to a younger, it only done at younger age.
