Syria is a country
that does not want to take major risks unless they get assurances that
the regime will be protected. They do not want to face a tribunal,
and Israel and the US know it. I am not sure how they can get around
it when the Saudis want it to take place, except that the Syrians will
refuse to show up. I am very sure the Syrians and Israelis have been
talking indirectly. As far as Imad Mughniyeh, someone liquidated him
with connections to the Syrian intelligence, but I am not sure if they
had the green light of the Syrian Government or not. Anyway, people
of the South should realize they should put their hands with their
Lebanese brothers not with the Syrian Government, because they would
get sold down the river by the Syrian Government. They need to wake
up and smell the coffee...
