Justice for the tens of thousands of innocent Lebanese civilians,
murdered or assassinated in cold blood... by the same "western"
designed KILLING Machine, since 1948, until very recently, will
be coming swiftly.... as night follows , day.

JUSTICE FOR A JIHADIST
February 14, 2008 -- One of the world's most dangerous terrorists has
been brought to a bloody end - and whoever laid him low deserves the
thanks of a grateful world.
Israel was initially blamed (if that's the right word) for the Damascus
car-bombing that blasted Hezbollah's No. 2, Imad Mughniyeh, to his
jihadist reward.
But the Jewish state has since denied any involvement - understandably:
Severe retaliation is likely for so heavy a blow. Yet Israel and the
United States are the two nations most interested in bringing Mughniyeh
to justice.
Though his name may not be familiar to most Americans, his crimes
certainly are well known - and they more than justified the $25 million
bounty that Washington placed on his head.
Though just 45, Imad Mughniyeh was a key figure behind some of the worst
terrorist outrages of the past quarter-century - indeed, he went to his
death with the blood of hundreds of innocent Americans, Israelis and
others on his evil hands.
He was the mastermind behind the 1983 bombings of the US Embassy (63
dead, including 17 Americans) and a Marine barracks (241 killed) in
Beirut.
He also orchestrated the kidnapings of US hostages in Lebanon, the
torture and murder of Beirut CIA station chief William Buckley and the
1988 murder of Marine peacekeeper Lt. Col. William Richard Higgins.
Another of his plots was the 1985 hijacking of TWA Flight 847, whose
dozens of hostages suffered through a two-week-long ordeal. Robert
Stethem, a US Navy diver, was beaten and fatally shot, his body dumped
from the plane onto a Beirut tarmac.
At the time of his death, Mughniyeh was wanted for his role in the 1994
bombing of a Jewish center in Buenos Aires that killed 87 and an earlier
bombing of the Israeli embassy there, which killed 28.
He has also been linked to the 1996 bombing in Saudi Arabia of the Khobar
Towers housing complex being used by US Air Force personnel, which killed
19. Two years ago, he reportedly met in Syria with Iranian President
Mahmoud Ahmadenijad and had been implicated in the shipment of arms from
Tehran to the Palestinian terrorists of Hamas.
That his elimination "is a huge achievement in the war against terror,"
as former Israeli Mossad chief Danny Yatom put it, is an understatement.
In fact, given the breadth of his terrorist involvement, the execution of
Imad Mughniyeh may prove to be even more important than if Osama bin
Laden had been captured or killed.
"The world is a better place without this man in it," said State
Department spokesman Sean McCormack.
Can't argue with that.
