Iran is not Arab. When I went to AUB, I never heard that Iran had
Muslims for a population. The Shah of Iran has effaced the population
as an agent of the United States of America who installed him as King
of Kings. But Iran is not Arab. Yes. And Iran is an Islamic
country who is so far an independent country deciding its own future.
And the United States of America wants to destroy Iran to have the
upper hand in ALL Islamic and Arab countries. If you happen to
listen to those interviews done by a Jew called Charlie Rose who is
possibly an agent of Israel and Zionism, you will notice that USA
policy is a corollary to Israeli policy and Israeli policy is derived
from the fact that Israel wants to stay the ultimate power in the Arab/
Islamic countries and that because Iran looks at Israel as an
illegitimate state and wants all Palestinians worldwide to vote as to
what should happen to Palestine, Israel is taking the position to
wanting to kill Iran. I posted an article on troop movements in and
around Iran. You may want to check it out. I guess it boils back to
the Issue of Palestine. Now you can see why the United States of
America called for a conference among agent states and Israel and part
of Palestinian territories to destroy the legitimate elected
government of Hamas. That Annapolis conference was concucted to
defuse the Palestinian-Israeli Conflict from the equation and enable
the United States of America to keep its hegemony over Arab oil and
isolate and divide Iran.
Hezbollah is not only a stabilizing force to the future of Lebanon
away from foreign domination, but it also can help the Palestinians
and Iranians in their struggle against the leader of Imperialism and
Zionism in the Middle East. Israel.

I disagree with your assessment. First Palestine was sold to the Jews
and a Balfour Declaration in 1917 was made. In 1918, all Arab
countries were divided among the French and English leaving no people
in these countries to decide their future. By the end of WWII and the
establishment of Israel in 1948, colonial powers have been using
Israel to instigate divisions among Arabs and Muslims to perpetuate
colonial hegemony over the Arab/Muslim countries. To do so, Israel
was fortified to disappoint any move to remove it. Israel has become
the leading force to perpetuate colonialism, imperialism and
Zionism.
When we speak of Israel, we immediately indicate the Palestinian
struggle to gain Palestinian land. Thus the conflict is perpetuated
with the perpetuation of Imperialism, Zionism and Colonization.
All the countries you mentioned are surrogates of the United States of
America and the Palestinian Issue threatens their existence. To
remove Israel is to remove occupation or Western agencies.
Syria is an independent state the United States of America likes to
destroy like Iraq because it is governed by the same Baath Party the
United States of America is trying to destroy in Iraq. Secular
democracies in the Arab/Islamic countries are a no-no as they would
consolidate all countries' human resources. Sectarian democracies are
divisive and are easily weakened for Western powers to own their
countries.
In Lebanon, Palestinians have been under the microscope-secret service
Lebanese militia monitoring their activities to quash it in favor of
Israel. In return Palestinians align themselves with local forces
that can help them.
Don't get taken by what you imagine an independent Lebanese country.
Lebanon is not indpendent in the sense that foreign forces direct its
leadership subversively. Hezbollah is the major force to steer away
from foreign intervention. Syria cannot have a USA troops and USA
fleet on its borders. What happens within Lebanon affects the lives
of Syrians. Lebanon is not an independent, isolated island. Lebanon
is part of the Arab countries and should be responsible.

Lebanon: there is no major Palestinian related issue. The problem is
sectarian: Sunni/Shiaa, and the other players in Lebanon are scattered
between the two camps.
Syria: there is no major Palestinian related issue. The problem is a
mafia-style minority dictatorship that uses Israel as a scarecrow. The
Golan issue will remain on the table as long as it servre the purposes
of the Assad dynasty.
Jordan: No comment.
Iraq: No comment is necessary.
Egypt: what Palestinian issue?
UAE: what Palestinian issue?
Kuwait: what Palestinian issue?
Saudi Arabia: what Palestnian issue?
Everyone wants to trade in the Palestinian issue, and so it became the
accepted excuse, and no one is willing to put it to the test.
Middle Easterners' lives are in turmoil because they are too stupid to
realize that they've been played for fools for decades, or that peace
not some search for revenge will resolve their problems.
PS: before you tell me about all the meddling, I'll ask you to
remember that neither the US not Israel occupies these countries (with
the exception of the Golan and maybe Iraq), and the culprits are
dictators put into place by the same people who claim to be abused!

Joseph, Lebanon is a field of interacting forces. Lebanon is highly
active. Forces are bare and raw. All I care for is that foreign
involvement to stop and let the indigenous population of Lebanon
decide the issues they face. I sympathize with ALL the Lebanese
whatever their beliefs and policies. Their lives have been in turmoil
since 1948 when the Palestinians were deprived of their homes by the
Jews.

Amending Lebanese constitution is like eating Tabuleh, once a week??
No, the Lebanese take their constitution pretty seriously. Previous
amendments were forced by the Assad regime the last two presidents'
terms by an additional three years. This amendment seems to be forced
by the Assad regime as well, through its Lebanese agents. It's not as
serious as the previous two, but it's another show of force on the
part of the Assad regime and its Lebanese agents -- a reminder that
they have big guns, and they can destroy the country at will. This is
not to say the Sleiman is a bad choice, he's simply a spectator for
this portion of the game.

Last time I checked, Iranians are not Arabs even. Also, last time I
checked they are interfering in Lebanon. Why is it okay for Iran to
interfere. Whatever happened to the Palestinian people is wrong, but
it doesn't justify imposing what Hezbollah wants on the majority.
There has to be a democracy in the country. I am sorry but fascism
is not better than Zionism. And don't tell me about imperialism. I
studied Marx and know all that talk about imperialism. It was all
used in order to justify to abuse the local population in the name of
socialism, and you are not even a socialist or Nasserist type.
You are just using their language for the cover of Islamicism. And
anyway, who said Iran and Hezbollah represent all Muslims. They
definitely don't.- Hide quoted text -
