Army commander Suleiman.

Ammar Houri announced today that Al-Mustaqbal block has agreed
to change the constitution to seat Suleiman as the next president.
The announcement is odd. It could have come from Hariri or Birri,
why Houri?

If Suleiman is confirmed, I will oppose him for two reasons:

- By my earlier definition he is an SOB because the constitution
needs to be changed to seat him.

- He has previously declared his pro-Syrian credentials by declaring
that Syria is innocent of murders.

The bottom line is that Suleiman's candidacy does not resolve
anything and merely defers the conflict. The next stop in the
conflict will be the composition and program of the new cabinet.
