I know she doesn't represent the main Lebanese view and that what she
says is painful to most if not all arabs. But she describes (maybe
unbalanced but) true facts she lived through. this testimony should
help undemonize Israel, and understand how badly Palestinean and
Lebanese decided to deal with their problems (even though I know some
of these problems were created by the independence war.

Israel (30 years ago) had free press, while Arab hate was fueled by a
controlled media. "Kill the Jews" - we can hear that even today in
some places...as in Gaza...

Israel medical services treat every person equally, while (she claims
that) a person from a rival fraction in Lebanon would be killed and
not treated.

What about what happened in Damour and the awful later events like it?
It seems to me (correct me if I am wrong) that although every such
events are remebered ( I saw the site about Damour) it's always easy
to remember Israels part than the arabs part. I think everyone in the
world will tell you that Sabra and Shatillah was commited by Jews and
not Christians.

Ant the latest and maybe most important - Education. I don't know
where does she took it from, but you can take my word for it as well.
Kids in Israel are educated to hope for peace and not to hate. This is
a fundamental difference with the hate many Arab kids (even
Chrsitian?! )are learnt to feel towards Israel and sometimes also
towards the Jews. Let me remind you that this issue risen in
discussion with Palestineans and I don't think it helped. BTW I am
not saying that kids in Israel always got the right picture about the
Palestinean issue, but the different is abismal and its maybe the core
fo problems we see nowadays
