Yes, if there is a time and place it is now in Lebanon that the Aounists
must bolt out of their Tayyar much like the Tripoli Bloc of Safadi did to

Lebanon to the dark ages. You can help save Lebanon while it is still not
too late. Aoun is determined to fall off a cliff powered by his ego and
zealousy to become a president. You do not need to follow him by jumping
off the cliff. Just watch him do it to save Lebanon.

Why are you worrying about Michel Aoun. He will not become president
of Lebanon. He is too heavily opposed by the majority of Maronites
represented in parliament if not also the Maronites in Lebanon in
general. Now, when he was elected he definitely had a lot of support
and still has some. I respect the fact that voters in a democracy
choose who they want and he was chosen by his voters, but the side
that is killing Lebanese nationalists (and Aounists in most cases are
nationalists of a variety) are not killing Aoun or Shiite candidates
i.e. those not upsetting Syria or Iran. That should say something to
all liberal, democratic nationalists wanting a good future for their
children. I would suggest that all Aounists exercise their
democratic rights in the next parliamentary election, as it is their
right, but I would suggest Aoun is not a viable leader.
