Elias Murr on the fight at Nahr El-Bared:"Mission Accomplished"

Elias Murr has announced twice that the mission of the Lebanese army was
accomplished. The first time he said it was 100% complete and the second
time after the fighting erupted again, he said it was 80% complete
retracting his 100% completion. He also announced that the area will remain
a theater of operations for an indefinite period. Such a statement ignores
totally the plight of the refugees who want to retun to Nahr El-Bared and
worse, it may cause the aliention of the majority of Palestinians throughout
Lebanon who were exteremly supportive of the government and the Lebanese
army. The Lebanese government must deal with the issue of the return of the
refugees and deal with it soon. We have enough problems and we do not to
cause more by alienating people that are supporting the government and the
army.
