Friend, I regret the confusion between you (JustLebanese@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx) and the shady character (JustLeb). Thank you for clarifying the matter and I apologize if I had said anything in my earlier response to you that could be construed as an offense to you.

Speaking for myself at least, I welcome any well spoken person to SCL especially those with whom I may politically disagree. I hold to the hope that at the end, we Lebanese have much more that unites us than separates us. I also hold to the hope that all our political disputes can be resolved if we all agree to abide by the judgment of the Lebanese people through regular election cycles.

In this regards, I disagree with those who say that we are not ready for democracy. Democracy is not a binary state, it's a long journey. The longer we delay the start of the journey, the longer it will take us to get there. There is no better time than to start than now.
