Most Christians have shifted to the March 14 alliance. Aoun is loosing

And repeating that would make it true? :-) Typical media brainwash
tactic.

Dr. Smith, the polls when Hezbollah had a fight with Israel showed
many Sunnis supporting Hezbollah. A slight majority of Sunnis also
wanted Hezbollah disarmed. Logic would dictate that after Sunnis
complaining heavily in Beirut, Fouad Seniora under seige, blocking the
tribunal to look into the deaths of Hariri and the Mufti's support of
the prime minister, agitation in Tripoli which didn't see dissenting
Sunnis showing opposition to those Sunnis supporting the government,
it would lead one to conclude there has been a definite shift among
Sunnis to the March 14th side. It would be hard not hold that
position.

With the Christians, Aoun has lost some of his backers. You cannot
deny that some left the party. We saw that at the various
meetings. It would be logical to assume that with the loss of some
in the party in terms of what we saw with those who openly joined
March 14th it would be logical to assume there has been some shift to
March 14th among old style Aounists to March 14th. If one would hold
such a position about both the Sunnis and Christians based on all
those facts on the ground and you call them brainwashed, then how
would you label your own position?
Don't answer it. I am not looking for your answer. I just want you
to remember the facts seem to suggest there has been a shift. We
have no concrete proof in terms of how the polls would reflect changes
in parliament etc.... It just appears that Sunnis are more
enthusiastic about their leadership than they were before not because
they are extremely competent, economic gurus, have brilliant plans for
Lebanon but because they feel alarmed at what is going on out there.
