Re: Winners and losers

The most basic think about sovereignity and freedom is responsability.
Israel understood that the Lebanse govt (who is the soveraign) needed
years to rehabilitate its power over sectors like Hizbullah. That's why
we ignored completely the provocations. But it was clear this wasn't
working. Western countries (France - not that I like them) did some
efforts and the Lebanese people did a huge work against Syria. Without
a single shot they managed to remove Syria army form their land. This
for me was a proof that the public opinion system - that is vital for a
democracy -was working and if Lebanese wants peace or at least quite
with Israel will sooner or later disarm Hizbullah. This is why I
supported the risky policy of letting Hizbullah alone for years.
What happened is that Israel is always considered "the enemy", "the
racist nation", and "the arrogant". It really looks like the under many
minds in Lebanon if there is someone who claims that can fight Israel,
so we should let him do it. If Lebanese govt. did nothing but accepted
Hizbullah in the goverment without asking to disarm or puts its arms
under central control, or even controlled the access of huge arms
convoys without saying anything. Then we have a huge responsability
lying on that goverment and - even in this thread - it looks like the
problem's root is in the Lebanese people's mind that in some place
didn't embrace peace in Israel as their choosen option.

Where can be a "resistence" separated from the army where the occupier
already gone?????

If the official Lebanese policy after Israel returned to the
international border would be an estrategic decision to have peace or
quiet, then this might not have happened. After all Hizbullah was and
is able to put Israel in trouble...so maybe some thought it worth the
price or just forgot to think about the price. This might have been a
human mistake in a country with civil war for 30 years, Yet - weather
we like it or not - Israel has its own strategic interests can't can be
longer ignored.

Pressure has to be brought on Iran and Syria to restrain them and disarm
them, and not through the means of bombing innocent civilians.
However, your country is a racist terrorist state, that never fails to act
with impunity, using its absolute power to impose collective punishment
and terrorize an entire country to achieve its goals.

Instead, Israel keeps issuing statements how they are not targeting
Syria in this fight.
You should go take on someone of your own size, and please fight it out
in Syria next time. They are the real enemy.
You guys keep using our land for your proxy war, destroying our
infrastrucrure
and killing our civilians.
Syria, Israel and Iran are all irresponsible criminal countries.
You deserve each other, I hope you all burn in whatever hell you
believe in where you all belong.
