Romania's decision to invite Prime Minister Fouad Saniora to
represent Lebanon at a Francophone summit in Bucharest has raised
concerns among Christians that such a move could further marginalize the
presidency.

When it comes to Emile Lahoud, he may be the least popular president
this country has ever had. But to quote Josey Wales in a comment on
Doha's latest post, "He may be a piece of ***, but he's OUR piece of
***." Romania failed to invite the president to the Francophone summit
for good reasons. The president's term was extended under pressure by
Assad, a fact that most Lebanese Christian politicians attest to. In
fact, many of them, including former President Amin Gemayel, have said
they want Lahoud out of power because the Assad-installed president has
destroyed the prestige of the presidency. Listen to Gemayel today:

And the writer of this blog deserves to be locked in a mental
institution for truely believing that it was Romania''s decision not to
invite president Lahoud. What an idiotic article!!!
