Shalah vows to revenge Majzoub blood
Tehran, May 29 - Secretary General of the Palestinian resaistance movement
Islamic Jihad, Ramazan Abdullah Shalah, Monday held the Zionist regime
accountable for the assassination of Mahmoud Majzoub in Lebanon, adding that
Palestinian people are rightful to respond to the act of terror.
Speaking to a commemoration ceremony for the martyr Majzoub in Lobia, in the
neigborhood of Damascus, the Palestinian prominent figure said that
Palestinian resistance movements will not remain silent toward Zionists'
repeated criminal acts which had already been extended beyond the occupied
territories.
"The Zionist enemy would rather wait for harsh reaction of the resistance
fighters," Shalah asserted.
Abdullah viewed assassination of Palestinian figures outside the occupied
Palestine as blatant violation of countries' sovereignty, adding that this
move would not be the last Zionist crimianal act.
"We know that this is not the last Zionist crime and the perpetrators of
such crimes had better realize that the fighters and nation of Palestine
will give them a crushing response," Abdullah added.
Islamic Jihad's Senior official said that Zionists aim to torpedo regional
security and tranquility by extending the conflict zone beyond the occupied
lands.
"We will keep on resistance against Zionists until we wipe our land from
their filthy presence," Shalah affirmed.
Abdullah asserted that Zionists by assassinating Majzoub actually vented
their hatred at those who once liberated the southern Lebanon from their
hands.
Pointing to the Lebanese nationality of the martyr Majzoub, Abdullah said
that his presence among Palestinian Islamic Jihad fighters points to the
common fate of the Palestinian and Lebanese nations in the face of the
Zionist enemy's aggression.
Mahmoud Majzoub and his brother Nazal were martyred Friday when a
booby-trapped vehicle they were traveling in burst into flames Friday south
of the Lebanese capital of Beirut.
